Topic Maps have been used as the core data structure in a system for developing and publishing business process models for Shell Oil Products

Topic Maps have been used as the core data structure in a system for developing and publishing business process models for Shell Oil Products for the past two years. The system now includes the Oil Products Data Model as well as five interlinked process models, and presentation formats include PDF, MS Word, and auto-generated graphics using SVG. This presentation describes how the current system works and Shell’s plans for further development.
