Abstract:
The new portal of the Topic Maps Lab is launched today.
We, the team of the Topic Maps Lab, are proud to announce the soft launch of our new Topic Maps portal. With this portal we want to provide the community a new and dense information resource about Topic Maps. The portal is an ongoing venture which will be further extended in future.

Nowadays Topic Maps appears to be very suitable for being applied in Libraries, Archives and Museums. It provides a suitable model and mechanisms for depth indexing, classification and the implementation of FRBR, CIDOC-CRM or other conceptualizations.
